Lately, it's been Queen Helene's Mint Julep. Very gentle.
I rotate between Suave's Coconut (most of the time) and Palmer's Olive Oil Shampoo (about once a week).
I use a very diluted Queen Helen Mint Julep or I use a diluted Giovanni Tea Tree.
You can find the QHMJ at your local Sally for around $3.00 and it dilutes to make over a gallon of shampoo (*very* budget friendly).
There are also some reviews in the review section, if your interested.
Michelle in middle Tennessee!
I've had good results with QHMJ too, but lately (i.e., most of this year barring the occasional experiment with other things) I've been using Ellin Lavar's Optimoist. My scalp doesn't seem to mind it, and it doesn't seem to strip my length of moisture. It doesn't have much scent, and is available at CVS.
I use diluted Suave Clarifying.
If you're looking for sulfate/cone free shampoo, I really like GothRosary's shampoo, and Giovanni Smooth as Silk shampoo. I also like Dairy Whip (thread around here if you're interested).
When I need a deeper cleaning, I use Suave Vanilla Mint tea clarifying, or Herbal Essences Long term Relationship, depending on whether or not I'm trying to stick it out with no cones at the moment.
Dove is normally a good one for me.
Right now I am using pantene's beautiful lengths.
Now is SLS really the main ingredient as in mop and glo and alot of household cleaners? That's what someone in another hair group said recently.
