Most of the time I only let my hair loose if I'm sitting around typing, like now. Except it's up right now.

When I want to brag about my length. ;D
Brushing, and washing.
I was wondering about this, and how much I should.

2016 Goal: thicken hemline | 2017 Goal: Possible calf length?

Most of the time I only let my hair loose if I'm sitting around typing, like now. Except it's up right now.
If it's the first or second day after wash day I might have it down if I have to go to work or go to the store or something, any other time though it will be up and protected in a bun or braid.

There's not really a should" abut how often to wear yuor hair up as everyone's hair has a different resilliance and everyone has different priorities.
That said, my hair is loose when washing and brushing. It's in a bun most days and braid every night.
Finally at knee, with a new quest for thick ends!

Do you think if you have super-long hair - kneelength, or longer - that it's not advisable to wear your hair out? I ask because of a discussion with a floorlengther friend, who was ticked off when two teenage girls photographed her using their mobile phone. I said that with hair that long it's better to wear hair up in an updo when going outside because, well, how many people have floorlength hair? Erm, not many in my opinion.
My hair is too short to be 'up' therefore it's let out all the time right now.
I would be ticked off too! I mean, it's one thing when the teenagers come and ask you to take a picture with them (that's happened to me, I was at DH concert and was wearing some skimpy outfit with his band's name on my lower back and some guys asked to take a picture with me, with the band and took a picture of my lower back) but to be walking around and just get hear flashes around... That's kinda creepy!
I do think people with floor length hair know it's not common and most likely wear it up all the time (specially for comfort) but still... have tack and ask if it's ok, 90% of the time people will let you take the picture!
Lady Ligeia of the Wandering Oleander in the order of the Long Hair Knights
Only when going out and after washing (damp bunning is not for me). I am currently on a challenge not to look at my hair at all, so as not to obsess over its growth but there is also a practical reason. I have a 7-month-old baby and a husband so if I wore it down, someone would be in it soon.
Too lazy to make a new siggy.
I know this is horrible of me, but I wear mine down when I want to be noticed.
Not only does the English Language borrow words from other languages, it sometimes chases them down dark alleys, hits them over the head, and goes through their pockets.
