Do you let your hair air dry without combing it straight or curling with curlers or appliances or straighteners? I just air dried my hair and left conditioner in it and I have soft, wavy hair and NO frizzies!
It's surprising though how much the waves take away from the length. I'm not allowed to post a pic attachment here, but I'll put it in my album (I'm wearing a light pink shirt for this one - not the album cover, but inside the album). EDIT on May 02/09: discovered I just didn't know HOW to post a pic - that's all!!!

I let my hair air dry also. I used a blowdryer in high school, but that made my hair sooo frizzy and dry. Since I've been air drying my hair is much softer and way less frizzy!

I do air dry, but I always comb it for tangles, finger combing doesn't seem to work entirely for me. That's great that you were so happy with the results!

I used to comb my hair out after I got out of the shower, and it took forever to detangle wet. Sometime around 3-4 years ago, I stopped messing with it when it was wet. Now I just put it in a towel to dry for a while (anywhere from 5 minutes to 2 hours) and then let it air dry. Usually I wash it at night, so it's drying while I'm sleeping (with my hair loose). When I wake up, there are few tangles. It's a lot less time-consuming than detangling wet like I used to do.
I do get bad tangles sometimes, but that's due to laziness on non-wash days. Quote:
You can post photos in threads if you want. Photos don't have to be in albums only. You do have to host the photo somewhere online, but you can use your album as the host.

I usually comb my hair while it's drying. Finger combing does nothing for me.

If I want a curly day, I don't touch it while its drying-- which is quite often. Otherwise I use my horn comb.

I air dry. I come it out as it dries so it doesn't tangle and drive me nuts, but other than that I just let it do its thing before I style.

I finger comb my hair in the shower when my conditioner is in. After I rinse, I divide my hair into two, like pigtails, one over each shoulder. then I blot my hair with a towel, and then go to a mirror and carefully comb my hair, ends to roots, to get rid of tangles. My hair dries perfectly.

I don't even finger comb until after my hair is dry.
