Can I join in here?? I measured at 21" this month, just barley at apl. Been a long time since my hair has been at bsl!! Can't wait.

I'm at longish APL and still can't do a cinnabun that I'd wear out of the house. I often do an english braid and then kind of twist it up on itself and hold it with a fork like this :

I have done a similar twist-up with the hair just twisted and it doesn't seem to hold as well as the braid, but I can still do it if the hair is damp or oiled when I put it up. Other than that, I wear a plain english/dianyla braid or two high, braided buns. I like braids, they hold better (and IMO look better) than twisted hair for me.

I must be almost there....

Yesterday I was laying on my stomach, across DBF's lap as we watched his team beat mine (boooo!) and asked him to unhook my bra strap for comfort. Wouldn't ya know my hair was a factor? He definitely had to move it a little not to yank it or get it stuck.

I'm APL stretched (curly 3c hair that is collar length when dry). Next goal = BSL

I'd like to join! My hair is about 1.4 inches from the top of bsl. I would like to reach that goal by Christmas and hopefully full bsl by Feb. Happy growing to everyone!

I'm still chuggin' along here...I just cut 1/2" (self-trimmed) and am at about the length shown in my siggie. I'm trimming every five or six months (my growth rate is usually 1/2" per month) to get rid of henna/indigo and to thicken up my hemline a little.

I will be BSL before New Year! Today I hit the upper part of my bra strap with wet hair!!! Yay, maybe midback this summer?!?

Count me in! I reached APL a long time ago, in October 2008, but I'm cutting off half my growth every two months due to old damage. If I measure when it is wet, it almost touches the top of my brastrap, but when it is dry it looks a lot shorter because of my waves *sigh*. Can´t wait till this long journey to BSL will be over!

BSL is about 26 - 27" and I'm at around 23 - 24" right now (always get a different reading). So not too far now.
