I'm going swimming with my boys so don't want to wear any hair toys in case they fall out.

Bunzfan that looks beautiful!
I do a good french or english braid - but my dutch ... well, never did understand how to do it - and my hands wouldn't do the right turns.
BUT to night I thought it was time to try again and behold!!
Not quite straight, but maybe it'll get better next time. Or maybe just say, that it's the way it was ment to be

Growing and graying ... just growing and graying
Beautiful braids, all around!
W2, great Dutch braid, especially considering it's your first!
Here are some more braids, a couple which I've shared in other threads.
3x3 herringbone:
Herringbone with accents:
Antenna braid (french braid, with tail flipped up and tucked in):
Maiden braids:
All of these braids are so gorgeous , that antenna braid is a possible new winter style - hurrah !
So i have wanted to do the variation on the English braid that someone posted and i finally managed it
At the moment i can only do it with two bands and only a 4 strand English braid but, hey its progress. I just add the normal 3 sections as you would normally and then just add in the 4 sections its actually not that complicated

Bunzfan, the braid looks great! Could you explain how to do it?
Haha, no problem. This is the name that Loepsie calls it on the youtube tutorial from which I learned the style.
Thank you! A 3x3 braid is three braids braided into a plain, 3-stranded braid. The three smaller braids I made were herringbone instead of English, which creates a pretty effect.
