i am stuck between bsl and tail bone on my 3a/3b curls. I would like to achieve tail bone. my hair has always been long without much effort on my part. since i've been nurturing it better, i have a few more inches. i co wash with either suave coconut condish, tresemme flawless curls, or hydralicious. moisturize with mixed silk, seal with shea butter or my own mix of grapeseed, jojoba, olive, and coconut oils. on dry days i spritz with a spray bottle filled with water, grapeseed oil, and a lil condish. any suggestions?

    Hello,

You've got a new curly head on board. My curls are between 3a and 3b, and one of my new year's resolutions is to embark on the road to long hair. I spent the whole year of 2011 cutting out severely damaged hair due to excessive bleaching (getting rid of henna... horrible mistake for which I learned my lesson), and now that I'm back to shiny happy curls, I'm in for the long haul!

I've got a pretty simple hair care routine... I co wash with Tre Semme Naturals Moisturizing Conditioner every day, towel dry, apply a quarter sized amount of Giovanni Direct Leave-In Conditioner (of which I'm a huge fan... Anyone else?) and either a drop or argan oil or Organix Coconut Milk Serum, scrunch, style and let air dry.

This was my poor hair after 3 boxes of bleach and brown dye... before

And this is my hair almost a year later (new year's eve), after having cut out all the damaged hair (finally!)... now

    I think I found a moisture treatment I like.

It made my hair curl up to my chin. LOL.
    Grew out the pixie.
    Acquired a mane.
    Cruising toward Classic.

    Hi all,

I'm new in LHC and a curly girl.
    I'm a 3c-4aMii-iii

Straight my hair is BSL and curly it just passed my shoulders.
(A little bit longer than on my avatar.)

    My current routine:
    1. CO
    2. 2-4 drops of oil in soaking wet hair
    3. Giovanni Direct Leave-in in wet hair
    4. CHS Curl Keeper on top
    5. air dry
    6. optional: a little bit body butter to preserve the structure
    Refresh in the morning:
    1. apply water to my hair (not soaking wet)
    2. apply something creamy (best works Giovanni Nutrafix Hair Reconstructor, or other deep conditioner)
