    Measurements in signature now updated accordingly!
    It's incredible how milestones can change person to person. On me 38 inches is between BCL and TBL!

    Wow, yeah that's crazy! Though I suppose that explains why people who have the same "visual length" of hair can do more or less hairstyles, thickness + actual length can vary so wildly. Perhaps this just confirms that my torso never grew up to match the rest of me ?

    I'm 171cm/5'7.25" with a long torso:

    * Chin 36cm/14"
    * Shoulder 43cm/17"
    * APL 56cm/22"
    * BSL 69cm/27"
    * Waist 81cm/32"
    * TB 97cm/38"
    * Classic 112cm/44"
    * Mid-thigh: 124cm/49"

    my milestones are 13-15cm/5"-6" apart

    illicitlizard, I'm envious of your measurements! Your Classic is my TBL

    xanthochromia that is quite a stark difference, it's interesting to see how chin and shoulder are so similar despite our height differences! Plus same distance between APL and BSL Just goes to show how meaningless body markers can be when trying to compare to someone else's growth I suppose. I'm envious that you can reach the top shelf

    But this also means you have long legs

    I guess our heads are the same size! this thread has been enlightening because I felt like my hair was growing reasonably quickly but others (like you!) were just racing past milestones. Now it makes sense!

    Yes, I definitely have long-leg envy for many reasons!

    Last time I checked it was 7cm minimum, so around 3 inches, but it was 2 months ago, so maybe 6 more cm to go?

    I don't have the proper materials to measure my hair atm but it's been mind blowing reading these! Like how some have 2 inches between waist to hip, while others have 6. I'm tall and have a long torso/legs/everything haha and trying to escape the WL abyss has been beyond annoying! But happy to know I'm not alone

    So interesting to see how different these are for everyone!

    I'm 5'5"/165 cm, very long torso, super short legs Everything is 3" apart except for MBL/BSL to waist and MTL to knee, both of which are 4" apart. (I doubt I can grow below classic anyway so my only long wait between milestones is the one I'm in right now )

    Chin: 15"/38 cm
    Shoulder: 18"/46 cm
    APL: 22"/56 cm
    MBL/BSL: 25"/64 cm
    Waist: 29"/74 cm
    Hip: 32"/81 cm
    BCL: 34"/86 cm
    TBL: 37"/94 cm
    Classic: 40"/102 cm
    FTL: 43"/109 cm
    MTL: 46"/117 cm
    KL: 50"/127cm

    These are all stretched measurements, with my texture I would probably call it an inch or two longer than the actual measurement--for example, I'm at 26.5 inches now, so technically only 2.5 inches from waist, but I don't think I'll "read" waist until around 30"-30.5".
    dec '18 ear > dec '21 MBL > dec '22 waist > dec '24 classic
