When do you like to call your milestones?

I try to wait until it's all there or appears to be, if in doubt I wait a bit more. Worst case scenario I'll just get to the next milestone faster!

Well, mostly I try to remember to call it, cuz I find it easy to forget about it all and then like suddenly one day I notice that I've passed the latest milestone by days or even weeks.
But other than that, I'd like to call it when a significant part of my hair has reached it, not just one tip.

I go with whenever it looks like it's there. Usually it means that most of my hair is there, or a little past.

Since I have a V shaped hemline, I usually wait until my longest racers are just a bit past the milestone. I think when I called waist, I waited 2 months to finally call the milestone. Some of that was due to the way I was marking my waist line in progress pictures by using photoshop to trend the milestone line, so it always felt like “you’re not really there if you’re measuring pixels on an image”. Also, as a wavy, I like to call my milestones based on unstretched lengths

I am curly and I call it in wet to make it shorter and because my hair is very easy to get straight, just a bun and it's wavy, or ae pins around my head with all hair in and it's straight.
I have layers one of them was my fringe so I can't wait it to reach the lenght.
