Im interested to see how this works out. I think Ill start trying it next month. I am trying to get a "control" month since I have never measured my growth before joing LHC. I was also hoping to aquire some kind of scalp massager that would help me with the scalp massage - for some reason I really dont like massaging with my fingertips. Any suggestions for gentle but effective scalp massage tools?

Like alot of yall Im not sure if i can oil EVERY day. Im gonna try though!

I didin't oil yesterday... There was no time :/ I left for work at 7a.m. and got home 2.30a.m..
But I did the upside down-part. Hopefullt it won't ruin anything. perhaps I will just have to do one extra day. Anyway, doing my third (or second...?) day today.
Hair is sooooo soft, but I don't like showering everyday... Even my skin says no... Hm.

I heard about it a while ago and I filed it under "too good to be true", and I wonder how much of it has to do with the massage. I started massage a while ago, and I noticed a difference (of about 1/4" of my regular monthly growth) but I don't often use oil on my scalp if I'm not planning on washing it soon. I honestly feel like some of the people reporting 1-2 inches a week might just be bad at measuring. :|

I agree that it's probably more to do with the massage and hanging upside down than the oil.
The bloodflow bit I understand but oil...? Don't know. As a control I'd be willing to do scalp massage and hanging upside down without the oil!

Eh, didn't really work except that my hair looks freakishly healthy now. No magical growth :P

I've seen people on here that say they haven't seen much growth after a week of hanging upside down. Since this seems dependent on blood flow to the head, but only for a short time, I wonder if people who exercise regularly don't see the benefit because they have increased blood flow on a more regular basis, and therefore, are "immune" to the effects.

    Just wondering.

Yeah, I'm wondering that too.. I read that somewhere, but don't know how accurate it is...
I'm always doing yoga and stretching and things like that, that involve hanging upside down, so maybe I'm immune? :P

I did this a couple weeks ago:
massaged my scalp while bent over for 4 minutes, once per day, for 7 days,
    no oil.
    Got 3/4" of growth.
Definitely going to do this monthly.
