Trimmers Measure-In

I trimmed off 0.75" tonight, only about 10 hairs But with that, my hemline thickness has effectively doubled!

My February measurement was approximately 73.5", so I should be somewhere around 73" now. That's technically still an inch beyond floor, but it doesn't feel like it thanks to Flippy Ends™. I feel like I need the extra length to make up for that, so I'll probably end up maintaining floor here.

Trimmed about 0.5" off tonight and measured in at 73" (as accurately as I can measure on my own). My hemline is slowly getting more symmetrical

Oh my, it's been almost two years!
I grew out my henna and had one big chop (getting all the henna ends out) and one smaller trim and shape (around 1-1,5 inches off my total length). My hair curled up a lot since I replaced some parts of my routine that didn't suit me, and is now more uniformly curly. So having all that in mind, here's my new measure-in!

2023
May 31st - 45cm or 17,7 inches

I'm not going to measure every month cause I don't think it would do me good to obsess over my length, and also my goal currently is beyond waist, but I'm not sure whether quite to hip or not (I'll see how it looks when I reach waist)... So I'll probably measure after the next trim, or at the beginning of the next academic year! In the meantime I'll make myself busy with exams!

This marks me tracking my trims for a year, and I am glad to see that I gained 2”, and trimmed approximately 2 1/2”

Moving forward, I am planning to stop tracking my trims here since I am less interested in gaining length and more cutting out bleach. 30” seems to be a sweet spot for me, so will grow back beyond 30” and cut back to it every 3-4 months. This was very helpful, and good luck to everyone!
