illicitlizard, how many pins did you use to make it really hold, if you recall? It looks really pretty & like Iyashikei said, very minimalist!

Hexana, ohh, that's great! The stick's color is such a nice contrast to your lovely hair color. :) My first bun that holds with just a stick is cinnabun.

I finally learned a bun that doesn't pull and holds the whole day. I am loving it! Here is my disc bun
Thank you, the ends seem to stay in but I also used a fair few pins and didn't do it on silky day 1 hair. I really like the disc bun too, just don't have any sticks as of yet that I can wear that reliably don't pull my hair. Will have to invest...

Thank you, I have no idea how many bobby pins I ended up with, but as an estimate 15? My hair doesn't like to stay up with just bobby pins at this length.

Absolutely love how creative you all are!

I’m new to the thread, and mainly joining to spy on ya’ll beautiful hairdos

This is one of the better buns I’ve managed to do with a Flexi - I have a few, but struggle with creating buns that don’t require scraping the hair from the scalp, as that starts hurting like hell no more than 15 minutes after, so they all turn out messy

The image is a little blurry for no apparent reason, sorry about that.

So happy that I found this thread!

Thanks to Hexana's lovely bun, I took the time to learn how to do a diskbun on my own (CBL+) hair. It's the first bun that really stays up all day and keeps my layers nicely tucked in as well. Now I just need to learn all the other fun updo's in here

This is a lovely updo, moonsista, and the flexi is one of the prettiest I have seen in a long while.
