Yes, sadly, my skin is very acne prone. I don't use moisturizer.

Just want to add my 2 cents: this is a wonderful lady with wonderful products! Got the spring rain scent after reading this thread; love the shampoo and conditioner, though I don't use it as a leave in since my hair is still so short. Definitely try it!

Just a question, Can Cheryl make the body butter to match the shampoo scent?

Yes she can. Just ask; she's very sweet!

Alright, so this is my second day using the shampoo and leave-in. I was a bit worried because it seemed that people with hard water or live in humid areas seem to have problems with it. Well, I have hard water AND I live in a humid area. The first night I followed the directions and my hair turned out a bit dry. But last night while washing I used more than twice as much leave-in than I did before and my hair is soooo soft. I guess this just means I'll have to buy two conditioners for every shampoo.

A funny thing though, when I got them I originally liked the First Snow a lot better than the Sweetgrass, but after my hair dried I found the First Snow to be stronger than the lingering Sweetgrass, which I ended up preferring. I really am going to have to try that Woodland Walk.

Also, she's got a code for 15% off purchases until June, I got it with my order.

Are these shampoos good in hard water? I loved my CV bars, but I can't get a water filter until june, so I'm stuck with hard. ACV did not help at all, with the waxies (though I still uses it now with my CWC just because it makes my hair shiny!

Man after reading all these wonderful posts, I want some too!
I've been wondering what to buy with my eBay bucks, I was thinking ribbon but my normal people don't have anything that catches my eye right now!

What I'm looking for is a "signature scent", kind of dorky I know but I want one good, rather strong smelling scent for hair and perfume that I can stick with. I used to buy the perfume that was made for Princess Diana but it's a little too spendy for me these days. I'm thinking of the Witches Potion, does anyone else have this and love it? Is it kind of woodsy??

I dunno, but I'm all over her blue lilac scent!

HobbitMopHead, I just placed another order for Toadstool and I bought two bottles of conditioner and one bottle of shampoo. A bottle of shampoo lasts me forever, but I go through a lot of conditioner.

    *******************************

I recently dug out an old bottle of Toadstool shampoo after not having used Toadstool for quite a while. The shampoo is so old that the consistency has changed -- it's quite viscous. But it seems to work just as well as it used to, so I'm going to keep using it until my new order arrives.

    My routine is CWC:

    • Toadstool shampoo -- scalp only
    • Giovanni Triple Tea Treat conditioner -- length only
    • Toadstool leave-in -- all over after towel drying

I have waist-length baby fine hair that tangles terribly. I find that the CWC routine works better for me than the usual shampoo and condition.

I adore Toadstool shampoo and leave-in. As I've mentioned before, I am menopausal, and I have weird, wiry hairs that stick up on my crown. When I use Toadstool, there isn't a a trace of the weird, wiry hairs. In fact, my hair looks fabulous from roots to tips -- soft and smooth with body and bright highlights.
