What a lovely braided bun and seashell bun, Miss Unruh!
^Love your braided bun, wish I could make a decent looking one, but I don't have enough hair yet.

I've made it to waist! On my way to hip!
What a lovely braided bun and seashell bun, Miss Unruh!
Miss Unruh, your braided bun is especially gorgeous!
I don't have a functioning camera at the moment, so here are two slightly wonky webcam pics of my hairdo today:
I did two English accent braids on either side of my parting. I put the rest of my hair into two rose buns, and then wound the accent braids around the buns. Am really pleased with this hairdo - I think I'll do it again tomorrow! I don't do twin buns often; should do them more!
I tried a braided bun with a long piece of cloth. I made the middle section of the braid thicker than the other two, tied the cloth around the middle section and added the two halves of the cloth to the two thinner sections. Then I braided it and twisted the braid into a bun. The cloth was longer than my hair so I could wrap it around the base of my bun.
Later I saw a photo of a girl with a huge sock bun with a scarf wrapped around it and tried to imitate it.
Last night for a Christmas party I put my hair in a Rose Bun held with lightsaber chopsticks. There was an accent braid on the left, but I didn't get any pictures of it.

Lightsaber hairsticks?!? Come on, that's cool. And great bun.
Here's my Pha bun:

That's a great pha bun, Wildcat Diva! And I looove your glittery hairstick!
I just did a french braided chinese bun with my new Pacific Merchantile hairstick which came in the mail today. I was amazed at how short the hairstick was, and thought, "I'm sure it is supposed to be 5 inches long!" I measured it and it is! It looked so short in my hair, but I guess it means my buns are getting bigger, yay!I also noticed that my hair is really varied in colour, with a real mix of lighter and darker, it shows pretty well in this photo, I hadn't realised it had such variations before....
JESUS, MY LORD AND SAVIOUR
Sparrowswing, my son would flip out at the sight of those! Lightsabers! So cool!
Here are a couple recent ones... The "I have no idea what it is bun" -- I'll admit, if I can get it looped up in a presentable manner, and it holds all day, it's a winner. I seem to be challenged when it comes to following bun instructions for the various types, the looping, finger placement, wrap this way, then that... Behind my head... Usually leaves me with nothing that resembles what I intended to do.
My infinity bun attempt... Albeit a little blurry.
longNred, that is a perfect infinity!
