I did an infinity bun for the first time today. It was easy-I was suprised. It's not gorgeous, but I'll focus more an the aesthetics next time.

Firegypsy - Your bun looks really really lovely. I'm in the wear hair up for 1 month challenge and I love trying all sorts of new styles. I especially love buns. I say try all sorts of buns and braids(I'm not good at twists either, so that's what I'm doing

) ). I'm quite boring, because my favourite is the cinnabun-it's really secure. You could try anything, like the cage/mermaid braid or a rope braid. Or it would be nice if you could try inventing some new hair styles. ^ ^ It would be a lot of fun.

L-my only issue is I can't have anything that hangs down my neck...all my updo's must be UP! That's why I live in buns, twists and crown braids/twists. I'm sure there are more styles I haven't tried, but I need to find one that don't hang down at all.

The forks are from Grah-toe...they're the shed antler forks. I love them!

I'm rejoining this thread!

I had left because i had reached APL, but yesterday I did a major big chop as I realised that although I'd been growing out damage from 2 years ago, my hair didn't look as good as it should because i was still heat styling (blowdrying my hair straight). So those awful ends have gone and my curls have sprung back up full of life haha, and I'm back to shoulder length hair when stretched. My avatar picture shows my new hair cut. I hope it grows as quickly as it was before!
