My hair made it back to 85 cm, or 33.5 inches. Another month or two and I should have regained the inch I lost in my last trim.

My hair is finally looking long again after the 1" to 1.5" I took off about two months ago. "Long" for me is nearing waist. I'm at 29" right now.

Last year I didn't trim, just hoped for length. This year I think I'll trim off all my growth to hopefully thicken my ends. Right now I don't much feel like I have long hair, although it is pretty long by non-LHC standards. I can too clearly see the difference in hair quality where I started to take care of it properly, and I hate to wear braids because of that.

I think I started last year at 85 cm and grew to 97 cm (I lost all my length charts), so a little under average growth, which for me is 14 cm. I have trimmed three times now, the first was about an inch to give me a good start, and the subsequent ones 1 cm each, so I've cut off about 4,5 cm.

    1.2.2016: 95 cm/37,5 in
