Yesterday was a 60th street charcoal silvertone fork

Today is my very first pair of Nightblooming sticks - jade butterflies on mahogany sticks

And since that picture blurred the butterflies, here's a pic of them from her shop and her much better camera:

And that's it for me! (I think that's enough!)

Thank you! He's actually a miniature of a slightly larger gecko I made previously. He's in my Creative Outlets photo album. They are both made out of polymer clay. The one on the hair stick is perched on a polymer clay leaf that is attached to a cheap chopstick. Plain wooden chopsticks are oven-safe, so it all went into the oven. Then I used a sharpie to color the stick green and clear nail polish to seal in the color and make the whole thing shiny.

That's all of your toys! It's been so nice to do this challenge with you!

I still have quite a ways to go. And I have to admit that it will be very strange to be able to wear whatever sticks I want to rather than being bound by having to wear ones I haven't already worn.

Peggy, honestly, I think it's just an optical illusion. It seems to me to fly around plenty.

It's in excellent condition because I almost never wear it! Why not??! Dumb, isn't it?!! It's a gorgeous comb and I have no idea why I don't turn to it all the time. Maybe I will some day?

Wow! Is that a beautiful comb! Looks lovely with your silvers!

You need to go out on the town, often, just so you can show off your hair and that hair comb!

Day 33: Lignum Vitae 'Silk' stick (from Crystal Mood) in a very messy Flipped Infinity Bun
No pic, but the toy is in my album - here.

Day 34: 'Heart' stick (from a local knitting shop) in a Pinless Rope Braid Bun
No pic, but the toy is in my album - here.

Day 35: Purple Fork in a Celtic Knot

Day 36: 'Rose & Thorn' stick (from a local knitting shop) in a weird Gibraltar Bun

Day 37: 'Swan' metal fork* (from Camden Market, London) in a Rose Bun from a Hawser Braid
    * It reminds me of a swan for some reason ...

This is the first time I've worn this item for a whole day. I always thought it was too flashy, or too heavy - but in a rose bun it's great. I like how it sits close to the bun and doesn't get in the way like sticks sometimes do when I'm at work.

Monk fork with amber top. I got this off the swap board, and then asked monk to shorten it a little. He did - and said he also slimmed down the prongs a little to make it look like it was always this length. And he polished up the amber and here it is back, looking new.

Wow, WendyG, I would never have thought of asking the maker to fix up the swap item - what a great idea! That comb is wonderful in your hair (which means it would be great for me, too!!!) ;o) If you find you're getting bored with it - let me know!

Today is an embarrassing thing - a ho-hum, not well done bun dressed up with a chignon comb I added some "oomph" to by lacing a celtic ribbon through and allowing to hang down. Otherwise you didn't see the comb at all, but there wasn't much to see, anyways. A major disappointment from an otherwise trustworthy source. Not their fault, though.
