What type of comb do you use?

I was using an unfinished wood comb that I was very happy with. However it gradually developed a small fracture in between two of the tines that started catching on and breaking hair. So I replaced it with an ox horn comb that I've been very pleased with. I also use a seamless plastic comb when my hair is wet.

I'm currently using a big, pink seamed comb as my main detangler, and another seamed comb with really fine tines on one side and slightly wider tines on the other for smoothing a finer detangling. I finger comb sometimes, usually when I'm sitting around with my hair loose. I'll get around to buying better combs. I just haven't, yet.

I have only just started combing. My ability to comb my hair has been poor in the past. I tried finger combing last week, and after I got my simplistic designs German silver comb, I have yet to pick up my brush.

I use a boxwooc comb, with thanks tho LHC(had read a topic about combs and I've seen that some girls used it here. It's a very good comb but the only negative thing about it is that you can't use it on wet hair!

I have a Madora ivory comb that I use all the time, but I've always wanted to try either a horn or wooden comb. This thread is giving me ideas.

I mostly finger comb, but I occasionally use my seamless wide tooth Hair Sense comb which is made from "bohn" (actually a resin, that looks like regular bone combs).

I use a wood comb on my dry hair and finger comb when wet. I like my wooden comb because it just feels nicer in my hair than plastic, also not having to deal with static. I'd like to try a horn comb, they sound cool.

I just ordered a horn comb from mehandi. So excited!
