Do you trim your hair, if so how often? I just got my hair cut two weeks ago after not having cut it for 4 years, I only had about 2 inches taken off, I'm going to try to have it trimmed about every 3-4 months just to even it up a bit
What supplements do you take? 3 in 1 (calcium, potassium, magnesium) which I never remember to take, vitamin E

When did you start growing your hair? I can't really remember, I've pretty much always had long hair.
What is your average monthly growth rate? I've never measured consistently enough to find out 
but I think it's pretty average. About .6 inch or so? (1,5 cm)
Do you trim your hair, if so how often? Yeah just now and then, every couple of months or just when I feel like it. I recently did a big trim, cut off about 5 inches (12 cm).
What supplements do you take? None (I have some hair & nails vitamins, but I always forget to take them anyway, I think I gave them to my dad!)
Do you eat any special foods for hair growth/nutrition etc? No, I try to eat healthy but that's not really with my hair in mind

What is your favourite shampoo? I loved my nettle shampoo and east indian cherry shampoo a lot but I don't know where to buy it anymore 
(used to buy it from a web shop) but now I use Urtekram nettle shampoo and that's good too
What is your favourite conditioner? That's tough to answer because I have a bunch of conditioners that work well for me. I guess my favourite would be Inecto coconut conditioner.
Favourite leave-in conditioner? I use aloe vera and coconut oil or a mix of shea, coconut and jojoba.
Favourite deep conditioner or treatment? Again I have a few that work well, but Henna cure & care mask with aloe vera is definitely a favourite.

When did you start growing your hair? I have been trying all of my life, but have been hindered one or other way, obviously. I've been actively trying to grow it vaguely healthier since about 2002 or so, when I shaved my head (very heavy shedding) and more seriously since I found this website, which I think was 2005. It is quite problematic due to shedding problems.
What is your average monthly growth rate? No idea, certainly no more than 1/2 inch, it grows sloooowly.
Do you trim your hair, if so how often? Only when I feel it is necessary, because of damage, or shedding. This is unfortunately too often.
What supplements do you take? After my last heavy shedding, I started taking a multivitamin everyday. I haven't experienced a heavy shedding since, so I hope this is the solution. I've had to take big doses of iron in the past, for my anaemia. I go into iron deficiency very easily, I have had this problem all of my life. I don't absorb it normally. Apparently, I absorb the little amount of iron in my multivitamin better because it is mixed with other vitamins.
Do you eat any special foods for hair growth/nutrition etc? I am ovo-lacto-vegetarian. This doesn't make my iron absorbtion problem better or worse.
Do you do scalp massages? Too lazy...
What is your favourite shampoo? I don't have a favorite shampoo. Shampoo is too drying. I use Henna cure and care for brown hair (this is a Dutch brand I think, Eveline or so) which is quite mild, once a week after a heavy oiling, but I cannot really say I like it.
What is your favourite conditioner? For CO, I am debating between Henna Cure and Care Vegetable conditioner, and Wella Balsam Kruiden. I have to test them a little more seriously and choose one. In fact, my favorite is Herbatural conditioner, but it is only sold in Spain, not here in Belgium.
Favourite leave-in conditioner? I like MMU make me smooth - On the mend leave in, but last week I bought a conditioner in the bio shop, Traay Noten, which seems to work as well or better as a leave in.
Favourite deep conditioner or treatment? I like to mix shea butter and honey (and smaller amounts of other oils/butters) with my conditioner for a deeper conditioning treatment (or just conditioner after CO)
What are your favourite basic oils? My hair likes coconut and avocado. And shea butter.
What are your favourite essential oils? I haven't noticed my hair liking an EO over the other, but I like to use rosemary and patchouli for my hair and geranium for my skin, lavender for both. I think it is mostly a smell thing, but I have read they are good too

What is your least favourite product of all time? Some gels I tried in the late 80's were truly nasty.

What do you like most about your hair? I've learned to like my curls. I like that is is coarse so it doesn't tangle easily and it doesn't tickle too much, and the curls keep the hair mostly out of my face. The strands are strong and can take quite a deal of abuse.
What do you like least about your hair? The dryiness and porosity. It is very difficult to make it shine.
Do you colour your hair? I liked henna, but I found some whites, so I stopped.
Do you clarify? I haven't found any shampoo that clearly states "clarifying", regular shampoo makes my hair very squeaky clean afterwards.
How often do you wash your hair? With shampoo, once a weeks tops. In addition I may CO once or twice a week.
How long does it take to dry? 3 or 4 hours. Maybe 2 in high summer.
Do you prefer you hair up or down? Down. I put it up when I am too warm (that is normally several times a day ;P)
What is your favourite updo? Because of convenience, twist/coil it a bit and hold with a claw, which takes 3 seconds. I like a very loose updo or gibson tuck the best for me.
Bangs or no bangs? Bangs end up being a couple of sausages at the sides my forehead, which is very flattering :P
Whose hair at LHC do you aspire to? I have seen a few amazing heads of long, curly hair here at LHC, sorry I won't choose ;P Very long curlies are less often seen than very long straight/wavies, though.

How many hairtoys do you own? I have a few France luxe (combs, couple of sticks, a couple of clips), a couple of Mei Fa, a wooden fork, a couple of flowers, and a few claws.

I also love my Santa Fe comb, although I suck at putting it on.

When did you start growing your hair? My sophomore year of high school, almost 4 years ago.
What is your average monthly growth rate? .5"? I'm not sure.
Do you trim your hair, if so how often? While I was growing out the awkward phases I did a lot of trimming up to make it look nice a long the way, but my last trim was over a year ago.
What supplements do you take? nada
Do you eat any special foods for hair growth/nutrition etc? nope
Do you do scalp massages? Sometimes. It feels good.
What is your favourite shampoo? Suave Professionals 2 in 1 moisturizing whatev
What is your favourite conditioner? Suave Naturals tropical coconut/Herbal Essences Rose scent (I don't think they make it anymore.)
Favourite leave-in conditioner? Don't use it.
Favourite deep conditioner or treatment? Hot oil treatments (grapeseed oil)
What are your favourite basic oils? grapeseed... only one I've ever tried!
What are your favourite essential oils? rose!! (and lavender)
What is your favourite product of all time? I don't know!!! I really like this Neutrogena sesame body oil, but that's not for my hair...
What is your least favourite product of all time? any V05 shampoos (shudder), white rain conditioner
Is there anything you would never put on your hair? (-cones/quats etc) chlorine!
What do you like most about your hair? It's long and thick.
What do you like least about your hair? It's long and thick. It gets kinked too easily. The ends are a bit uneven.
Do you colour your hair? Not anymore.
Do you clarify? I use shampoo sometimes.
How often do you wash your hair? daily or every other day.
How long does it take to dry? A few hours if down, half a day if it's in a bun.
Do you prefer you hair up or down? up. It gets in the way too much when down.
What is your favourite updo? cinnamon bun
Bangs or no bangs? no bangs
Whose hair at LHC do you aspire to? everyone with tailbone-length dark straight hair

Brush or comb? comb when wet and dry, brush with nylon pin paddle when dry
Do you use hot styling aids on your hair irons/blowdryer etc? NEVAR!

What is the last hair-related thing that you bought? more conditioner
What’s your favourite kind of cheese? mozarella, provolone, feta, cheddar, pepper jack, what DON'T I like??
Share a funny/inspiring/shocking hair story if you have one: I'm a former dye-head. I used to have a strip of bleached hair that I dyed varying combinations of pink, blue, purple, and turquoise. When my hair was short I religiously used ruby red hair dye every few months. I bleached my whole head myself once. It was a disaster. I once even tried dying with grape koolaid. My hair turned black for like a day, and I attracted a lot of bees and flies.
Say one nice thing about the person who posted before you: Medyssa has a super cute cat!! I also love her bouncy curls.
ETA: Emichee posted before I could, so I just wanted to compliment her too. She has beautiful hair that is so straight and always elegant. She makes wearing her hair down seem effortless. Plus, I think she looks amazing with a ponytail!!!
