I always have my hair in a ponytail, but lately I've taken to keeping another elastic on my wrist in case I want to braid my hair as well. Especially when at school, it's nice. ^-^

I always have one around my wrist. Mostly because I have a tender scalp and eventually most buns will end up making my scalp sore so then I will braid it. Or if I am wearing my hair down I can pull it back when it starts bothering me.

I am not one of those people who can go all day without changing my hair style. I can usually make it six hours before I change my hair style sometimes less.

It's like having hairdo ADHD; people at work even comment on how they will walk by me a few times during the night and I will have a different style each time.

I usually have either an elastic or scrunchie on my wrist.

Almost never, unless I've placed it there while I'm making a ponytail, and then it's on the pony in less than 30 seconds. My wrists are 6.75" around, and I think my hand would turn black if I wore elastics around my wrist. I think I've worn about 2 ponytails since 2007.

However, I've got a bunch of those little silicone braid-ender things around my fabric watch band. Never know when I'll need one. And there is almost always a spare stick in my backpack.

I almost always have two elastics round my wrist. When I get a new pack I'll take a couple out and stretch them until they fit comfortably round my wrists, and they stay there until they're stretched to oblivion, at which point the process begins again with the other elastics in the pack.

ETA: Serendipitously, if an elastic is comfortable around my wrist it generally fits twice round my ponytail. Odd, as my pony circumference is 4.25" and my wrist circumference is 5.5", but then it's stretched round the ponytail and I like it to be slightly loose round my wrist (so I probably like my elastics to have about a 6" circumference, which stretches to 9.5")

I usually have one around my wrist. I don't think it looks tacky at all.
It's funny, I'll look down and think "How did that get there??"

I don't know how it happens, but they always end up there!

Infact, I have on on each wrist now!

Not really. I prefer to keep them in my pocket, if I carry any with me anyway.

I have a few in the pocket of my coat, but never round my wrist

Most of the time I wear my hair up,so I don't use them much.
