This week is my one year "hair-iversary"! Have come such a long way from basically a chin length chemical cut to almost APL; and have managed to get to the point that the majority of my hair is virgin! Yay! Thank you LHC for all the encouragement and inspiration!

Then I took this photo today and realised I could actually post it in the BSL->WL thread ha, what!

It's like looking at the back of someone else's head!

    Wow, congratulations!
That must be a pleasant surprise. And such gorgeous hair, too!

Just wondering, are you sure you are only an i in thickness?
Your hair looks much thicker than that I think.

After 7,5 years of silvering dreadlocks, back to loose, fine, straightish hair.
Fresh Hennahead and loving the red!

I've been unable to do anything except braids (only side braids or pigtails) and leaving my hair down for about two months now, because I have two new growth areas above my ears (from trich - last May during finals, I got super stressed and pulled the heck out of these two spots) that stick out and look awful when I try to put my hair up or braid in the back - they've gotten long enough in the last few months that I can't hide them by tucking them behind my ears anymore. They're too slippery and stubborn for bobby pins.

But today, I discovered that they're FINALLY long enough that I can include them in a very, very low ponytail! I'm so excited. They're still a few inches too short for anything else, so I guess I'll have 6+ months ahead of me of low ponies and braids, but YAY.

I have a few hairs that are now at BSL. I am so excited because I have never had my hair grow this long before . Hopefully, I will be properly at BSL before the end of this year

If I do my hair in a ridiculously high ponytail, my bangs can just barely reach the ponytail.

I have to pull my hair over my shoulder when I braid it! It's odd how sudden this happened. Yesterday braiding just on the back of my head started to feel really uncomfortable.

Managed to do a self-held nautilus today! This is a mini-milestone both on the hair growth front and on my personal challenge to learn more updos.

Now just waiting for someone to get home so that I can take pictures.
