Thank you rowie. I tried to recreate the braided style on this blog, which I came across when trying to decide how this fork could be used. I struggle to tuck my hair into the ponytail so I twisted it before putting it in a half up. I need to perfect this style as it looks softer from the front.
I basically put the fork behind the elastic band.

It really is loviatar! Thank you, I didn't expect it to work so well. I am very pleased. I have been meaning to learn the Gibson tuck since looking into vintage combs, of which this one reminds me. I can't do a regular French roll unfortunately. I imagine my hair would need to be a lot shorter as I couldn't when I joined (hip length).

Those are amazing! I will admit to heaving a little sigh when I missed them but they are so perfect on you.

Also, now I want pink bits. Not the best timing, as I'm going to a lot of interviews at the moment. *investigates parandas*

I always fancy colouring part of my hair when I see such a pretty effect. This is lovely, and so it Calaelen's green and red combo. Not sure what colour would suit me, as I do best in muted colours (Soft Summer Deep for those of you who are into this sort of thing).

I may look into it as my length below shoulder length has some henna in it (from a cassia/henna treatment) and I am sick of the brassiness... Maybe light lavender? It would tone it while not clashing...
