This is my thought too. I actually only have done messy buns, but now after seeing all the great hair styles on here, I want to get some toys and give some nicer styles a try too! Now for a little extra money to head my way, and I will be all set.

Here's an early French braid of mine. That strand I completely missed makes it look so... boho. Yeah, let's go with boho.

That is the worst feeling, especially after all that braiding. The exact same thing happened to me today when I did two braids.

I do this all the time, especially when I have to be out the door two minutes ago.

I don't even know what I was trying to do here, but it is safe to say I failed.

Attempted rag curls. Well, I got curls, but I was hoping for something a little less random!

Those are FANTASTIC!! I have so been there!!

This was a pretty brioche bun, believe it or not, before it hulked out on me. I should've gotten a "before" picture.

My sig pic is sort of a fail, but I think that lone little escaped curl looks so pretty.

P.S: I've always preferred my buns to look all explodey, so my current layers are perfect.

i love the "you are not alone" feel of this thread!

the longer i go without washing my hair the more it goes into "The Incredible Hulk" mode, exploding out of buns and braids. I'm not sure if i'm posting pictures correctly yet but here's my attempt to post a picture of a nautilus bun fail...
