If you wanted to really be able to say something about the distribution of fine hair amongst the different hair colors, you would need to know what percentage the fine-haired would be in each color group and compare those percentages. OK, off the science geeky soapbox...

Agreed. I think the only way to make that happen with LHC polls is to make four polls (black, brown, red, blond) and ask for hair texture within each group (i, ii, iii). Then you can compare the distributions.

[ETA] and of course even then the poll wouldn't be particularly reliable. The people who participate are self-selected, and their color and texture is self-reported.

Dark brown that often gets mistaken for black- don't let my profile pic fool you, that's old dye and sundamage/dryness. Super super fine.

mine's darkish brown with golds and reds. never been blonde in my life, not even as a baby, lol.

I was always told blondes couldnt have fine hair, which is why my sister (who is blonde) has thick hair and I didn't.

I voted Dark Blonde, as I don't feel it qualifies as Light Blonde but it certainly is not Light Brown... would have chosen Medium Blonde had it been an option.

Dark blonde/Light Brown. It's that dishwater color. :P That "blondes are the only people with fine hair" comment is most definately wrong. One of my friends has medium brown hair and hers is as fine as it gets.

I have very dark brown hair. It is fine but I have a lot of it. It was white blonde as a small kid and slowly got darker over the years. It only turned super dark brown in my mid twenties.
