Received my WEII today. I am VERY impressed. Perfect finish; gorgeous acrylic! I got this stick because in the picture it looked like there is a little galaxy in the topper and am so happy to see that it's even better IRL! Photo was cropped but Photobucket being uncooperative as usual.[IMG]

Okay, ordered another blue because I can't resist a teardrop topper. Again, amazing quality. I'm starting to fall seriously in love with this maker.

So, because I can't help but compare, here is my new WEII stick as compared to a LI stick (top) and a WWC stick (bottom)- all with teardrop toppers. All of these sticks are perfectly turned with absolutely flawless finishes...a testament to the skill and attention to detail of their makers. If you look carefully you will notice that the WEII stick has a thinner profile than the other two sticks. This makes it as light as the other two sticks even though it's a bit longer. I usually get shorter sticks 'cause acrylics can get heavy for my hair so this delicate profile works great for me. The shaft of the WEII stick is like a cross between the LI and the WWC sticks. It flares out slightly and organically in the middle to help with grip much like a WWC stick but the flare is not as pronounced...somewhat like a LI stick. The tip is perfect...not too sharp; not too blunt. Of the new makers of acrylic sticks WEII is hands-down my favorite at this point. I seriously hope that this shop doesn't get so busy that I can't get a stick from them. BTW, the acrylic in this is gorgeous and sparkly. This is just a bad pic on a cloudy day.

Thanks for the comparison photo lunasea. I just ordered an Emerald Green stick from his shop since I haven't been able to get an LI in that color. Can't wait to receive it and see if it holds as well in my hair as the LI's.

That is gonna be an AWESOME color in your hair DKSABS...especially in the sunlight! Can't wait to see an action picture.

BTW, I think that a woman is making these...though I could be wrong.
