Is it possible to go from shoulder length hair to BSL in one year?

I'll echo what others have said - given your growth rate, I'd say it's possible. I wish mine grew as fast, but I generally get 1/2 in max per month, so I've got a couple of years before I reach bsl. Good luck!

Wow...there are some fast growers here! I have 6" to go until BSL (true BSL, covering the bra, um...elastic, not really strap, I guess) and that's one year for me, and I'm past shoulder right now, heading toward APL, actually.

I grow about 1/2"-3/4" per month but on the safe side, I like to think of it in terms of 1/2".

It's very possible. I did it in a little over a year.
*edit* my signature is from march by the way, and I cut my hair to shoulder length in september 07.
