2017 Monthly Length Photo Project

I've been meaning to start taking regular hair photos since I joined but never got around to it. It's about time I actually start doing it & this thread seems like good motivation!

I'm in! I'm also doing "no trim 2017", so I think it will be cool to watch my own hair grow.
My goal is to take pictures of my hair on the first day of every month. Now, let's hope I can stick with it haha

One of my goals is to also try to measure my length monthly (we'll see if I actually follow through on this). For those of you who have done the same, how do you measure? I typically drape my soft tape measure from my hairline at the front, over the back of my head, and then down my back and try to pin the very ends against it with my fingernail...but this yields inconsistent results. I get the "general" measurement, but I don't think it's very exact.

I was planning to this and post to the 2017 no trim but I will just post it here. I definitely want to see what an average years growth would be for me.

I'm new to LHC so I've never done one of these but I'm excited! I love seeing all the pictures of people's progress, it gives me hope for my hair.

I started with an around ear length bob in September and this is my current legnth. I'm hoping to reach APL by may/June.
