Everyone may not like this fix....I put a scrunchie or flexie at my nape to hold it together. I actually don't mind the look....But it may depend on your length and of course personal preference.

Since my poof problem starts a bit above the nape, I'm not sure that would fix it. I just need to practice, I think. That being said, I think a flexi at the nape on a french braid would look really nice, but I haven't procured one yet

When I used to do french braids, I resorted to putting a bobby pin vertically up each side to the braid. It worked as long as I periodically puched it up as it sagged a bit. Always felt a bit of a fraud though, and never worked out how to get it all tight. Even when I do it on someone else, it's still not quite all tight going down to the nape!

Starting to use essential oils on my scalp was probably the best decision i made. Considering i kept my hair up for three days, i lost Very little hair during my wash today. I hope i can get my thickness back, that i lost during my stressful shed period.

Have you not been eating and sleeping well? That’s bound to have an effect on your health, including your hair. I find that eating and sleeping go hand in hand - if one is bad the other will also be bad.

Weren't you the one who had thinning in the crown area? Have you been to a doctor?
