Oh look, a thread I didn't know existed!
My recently discovered way of doing a "twist" (it is in fact a failed nautilus, my hair was too short so I put a fork in the loop). If this thing got a name I don't know (seems like this is a way to do a french twist?), but it's very stable and comfortable so I highly recommend it!

It would be fun if we could revive this thread, I noticed after I posted my last post that this is one oooold thread.
Figured that I could post this one. I was playing around with my hair and noticed that I can do a cinnabun when it's on the top of my head (can NOT do a stable one on the back of my head). It looks a bit funny, and it's messy since I didn't consider doing it nicely, but it stays put and is comfortable

My modified log roll thingy mabob! It has held without much drooping for hours with one stick and takes 3 seconds to do.
I can’t really explain how I do it so once I can I will take a video of it.
It is a bit off to the side so you have to start at the left to make it centered (for me).
