So is this a hair items swap? Or it could be anything (as long as it's nice of course)? I always sent hair stuff in the previous swaps and always feel a bit guilty when I see people receive a variety of things.

Yeah it's hair related but of course there can be non hair related items as well, at least 1 hair related item ^^ It's not so strict, nobody can fail or anything, as long as people are happy with what they get and send
