    I take the gummy ones.

I've honestly never noticed a difference.

They well only make a difference if your diet is not supplying you with ideal amounts of the vitamins and minerals in the hair vitamins. If you are already getting enough, it just makes expensive urine and overworked kidneys. I think it is better to get what you need from what you eat. If you do decide to use supplements, beware mega dosing. It can cause permanent kidney damage, which shortens your life and drains your energy terribly.

That's what I take, simply because I know I don't eat healthy. Not sure if it really helps yet, though, just started taking them consistently again.

Yes. I take MSM, Silica and a high dose multi-vit.

I heard that prenatal vitamins are good for hair, has anyone ever noticed. I know pregnancy can make your hair grow faster (I think that's why my hair grew out so much in only three years.) I was taking prenatals off and on between babies, too. But I hardly ever remember to take any vitamins these days.

I take a prenatal vitamin for my hair. It seems to produce a slightly faster growth rate; especially so when I remember to take it on a regular basis.
There is a distinct possibility that I have reached waist - but I'm hesitant to look.

I'm prescribed a prenatal for other reasons, but haven't noticed any benefits with my hair from it. I feel like my hair grows faster when I remember to take my MSM on a regular basis.

It's short for methyl sulfonyl methane. It's generally used for joint health, but anecdotal evidence suggests that it helps with hair growth.

I've been taking it for about 2 months now and my joints have indeed benefited (much less creaky and cracky) and I do think it has contributed to improved hair growth.

Here is a link to the Wikepedia page methylsulfonylmethane
