I really want to get one of the Body Shop wood combs... but I'll have to wait perhaps until next month for that.
I currently use a plastic seemed comb. I've had it for about ten years! LOL!
From chin in March 2012 to APL in March 2013 and on to BSL in the future...
I use a seamless plastic wide-tooth comb. I once had a wooden comb, but someone decided that they wanted it without letting me know. I did prefer the wooden one though.
I use a seamless plastic one most of the time but I also have a wood one.
I have a few wooden combs that I use but also a plastic seamless in the shower to help distribute the conditioner.
I just started using (about a month ago) a boxwood comb and both my hair and I are in love wtih it. It is very gentle and doesn't tear your hair and I have lost a lot of the static that I used to have
I have a wooden one from the Body Shop and I love it. I rarely use anything but that!
I use different comb for different purposes. I love my Mebco detangling comb. I use it on wet hair after I wash and in the mornings to detangle when I get up. I have a Body Shop wooden comb, a Madora ivory comb and a Heavenly Harvest comb too for general combing. I have a fine tooth comb for smoothing scalp hair after bunning or braiding.
I am not here to decorate your world
I use a small horn comb I bought from someone on this forum, but I don't remember whom. I love it and I was very upset when I left it at DBF's house for a few days. Wide toothed plastic combs also work in a pinch.
I bought a Denman detangling comb thinking it would be seamfree, but it wasn't - so I set about it with a minidrill with a sanding bit. Now it's safe I love it!
