Yep, most decks of cards are held with a hair tie around here. Usually, I use clothespins for that. Though jaw clips do work, I don't like them enough to have many around.

I use binder clips to hold chip bags closed! I was pleased to see that one of my friends does too. Office supplies are quite handy in the kitchen.

I do use hair ties for everything too--especially playing cards, cords, pencils, and to hold small boxes closed.
