My hair looks better on the day I wash it if it's blow dried, but only on the first day, afterwards it's like straw. If I need it to look good on the day I wash it I put it in big rollers and the blow dry gently with no heat.

I can't choose. I like both. Variety is the spice.

Hee hee! I want to mention that the wording of your poll will probably skew your results - "blow-fried"??? LOL!!!

Frankly, I think my hair looks a lot better blow dried but I don't do that because I know it's damaging and I want to have long hair.

Air dried, unless on rollers with setting gel,my hair ends up totally slick and flat. With rollers, it still feels and looks thinner. I am working on ways to remedy that because heat is the hair-killer! (I wrote that on my mirror.) Someone here suggested aloe gel, and I am liking it a lot for adding some texture.

Onward to further (heat not included) experimentation ...

Air dried for me. For most beautiful look blow fried, I'd have to use a flatiron afterwards and that just ain't happ'ng (damage, damage, damage).

Air dried, because my hair is smoother and shinier that way. Blow drying in the past led to frizz.

I prefer air dried too as my hair looks more curly and shiny however i get more baby hairs showing which go when i blow dry however blowdrying makes my hair look drier and the shine is a lot less and the curl all but goes!

One more vote for air drying...you don't want to see what my blowdried hair looks like. *shudder*

The last time I used a blowdrier on myself was 4 years ago when my mom forced me to ("You're NOT going out with wet hair!" Blah), and it was awful. All poofy and frizzy...

    I'd say air-dried

The last time I truly blow-dried my hair was a year ago, it was made spaghetti straight. Goh. I didn't look bad, but I definitely wasn't used to it. That and the stupid hairstylist cut my hair in a type of bob. Ew.

Now when it air-dries, granted, my hair's curly, and indoors with no exposure to wind it dries very curly and shiny... But outdoors air-dried with quite some wind then the afro-monster is released! AAGH!
When I finger-comb, it frees tangles but it also just increases volume :P

I air dry my hair. Sleeping on it keeps the frizzies away enough.
