Wow, Crystawni... that stick is absolutely stunning. What wood is it?

Thanks, Hailwidis! It's a beautiful bloodwood--not something I've seen much at all at Elymwold, actually.

I like the look of my one Elymwold a lot, but has anyone found the end of their sticks to be too sharp and pointy?

No, quite the opposite! That's one of the things that make them so wonderful -- the tip is slender and fine enough to be able to pick up a lot of scalp hair and as a result they hold like a rock. I have massive issues with blunter sticks and have sold several of my TTs (even ones that I loved and that were a wrench to part with) because they just wouldn't stay in my hair. Never had that problem with an Elymwold!

I decided to share a prettier photo of this hair stick, I'm still not sure if I like it in my hair, but yeah, it deserved a better photo!

Haha, thank you! I really like the hair stick, not sure if it feels at home with me, but I won't part with it anytime soon

Can anyone explain how the wishlist thing works? I've finally found the exact thing I've been wanting but I've never bought from an in demand Etsy vendor before, so I have zero idea how any of that stuff works...

Ambystoma, I think you're out of luck if you're wanting to order a custom from Nigel. This is what he has stated regarding wish lists, in the shop's announcement:
"WISH LIST - I am not taking new custom orders at this time, however I will be starting a new list once I have completed all the orders that I currently have."

You could try contacting him, but I wouldn't count on it.

I'm actually kind of worried, and I might just be paranoid... but the shop hasn't been updated in roughly 2 months. It's been the same 3 reserved sticks sitting there for weeks. I hope they are alright.

Right?!? I was wondering the same. He put up a couple of sticks per day for a couple of months, then silence all of a sudden. They're such wonderful people, I hope everything's fine.
