That's a different type of enamel. Nightshade had had great success on that with something called Attack. But she says it has awful fumes, so I'd check with her before buying it.

Yeah, stuff works like a dream, but good lord, the MSDS for that thing reads like a riot act. I'd be happy to give your clip a quick soak for you if you wanted, Cania.

I got a ficcare from ebay yesterday that is chipped. I am so excited...

The Attack... I see it online, but am wondering if I can find it in-store, locally. Did you have an easy time finding it, Nightshade, or did you have to order it?

I had to order mine. I'm pretty sure it isn't supposed to be shipped through USPS, but that's how mine came

I got some work done on my lotus clips! I can't remember if I posted these, but I took a new Lotus and put it in the Attack and took the enamel off.

The old one had matte areas, the new one does not, it's also more of a blue-chrome finish.










The first two I wanted to try were a teal and an emerald. I got the painting done tonight, just waiting for them to set so I can clean up the smudges on the silver areas.

I've got pretty close matches for Border Violet and a Deep Blue, so I'm debating which to try next. I want to make a black one for myself, but don't have a black I like much :[
