I love this one! It holds secure without being too tight. Also, like you say, no losing Amish pins. Sorry about the humble chopstick. I don't have any long sticks. Hope the pic isn't too dark.

I'll be back to give you a style if no one beats me to it. Going to look through your album again. (poor memory)

How about this time you do a French Rope Braid? If you're not up for that challenge or are new to rope braids how about a plain rope braid?

above_rubies, how about an upside-down french braid ended in a bun? i.e. french braid from the nape of your neck with your head upside down, and then bun the rest (you can do a braided bun if you want to).

What about me? I have really short thick hair! I can do a few things though, haha!

Oh my goodness, my arms! That rivals hand mixing a double batch of chocolate chip cookie dough. But I managed. It looks really cute as pigtails too (did them on my mom two weeks ago.) Sorry my mirror is so dirty.
