It might be mutant, but I love the swirls and that fork is wonderful.

Bunjii braid end in white, red, and blue. Yesterday was election day. The US isn't the only country whose flag is red, white, and blue.

Today, I realized that if I bend the slide inward in the tricolor rose slide-back barrette I have from BronzeJewelers it will actually clasp the top of a braid or maybe (more doubtful) ponytail. It was never that comfortable a bun option (and is now too small anyway), so pleased not to have to sell it 'cos it's really pretty. There's a gold mini-Flexi8 at the other end of the braid:

Masara, that is the most perfect bun I've ever seen. How is it that you never have any fly aways?

Little Acorn - that fork is really pretty. And I agree with Masara about the coils in the bun being uber pretty.

Wendy, I love that slide! I've been eying their stuff for a while, but this might have pushed me over the edge.

I'm so glad we revived this thread, it's so awesome now!

I've had too much going on to take pictures but I just have to tell you ladies that I'm not only admiring the hair toys but the beautifully shiny hair. I had to adjust my screen because the reflective qualities are blinding.
I'm going out with my husband today. He has the day off so it's a play day. I haven't decided what I'm wearing, how I'll wear my hair or what hairtoy I'm choosing but if I find time to take a quick picture before bolting off I'll do that.

My new (first, but not last) Grahtoe fork arrived and I had to wear it. I turned my head the wrong way in the picture, so you can't see it as well as I would have liked. It's difficult to photograph because the wood changes colour depending on the light.

Simone, note the fly aways That cinnabun was just one of those flukes you can never reproduce when you need to.

Ha! I feel much better. It looks gorgeous, even with the fly aways.

Little acorn, as I said on the Grahtoe thread, they really go well with your hair colour. Looking at them again, it seems to me that your hair had brought out a warmth in the wood that I hadn't noticed in the shop picture. (which is probably a good thing, fo me)

Well, I won't be adding any pictures to the challenge thread for a while. Too many things are conspiring to get in the way for he next week or so. However, I will be keeping an eagle eye on this thread because I just adore the hairtoys and updos.

Oh, and little acorn, I love your little acorns. hee hee
