Eeek, I can't wait to graduate, lol. It feels like it's taking forever to reach my chin. This is part is always so tough - can't put it all up, but at least it's firmly not a pixie anymore.

Well that didn't go as expected.

Last January I posted in the mid-back to waist thread because I was planning to grow my hair back to my waist again, and then the next month I got diagnosed with cancer and started chemo. I've been keeping my head shaved until I saw my hairline coming back strong, but it is now, so I'm ready to actually grow again!

So sorry to hear that! Glad your journey towards the length of hair you want is back underway. <3

Mine does that sometimes. It'll just not grow much at all and then suddenly take off growing again. Hair is weird.

I've been trying unsuccessfully to get out of here for 3 years but I'm very spontaneous and keep shaving it off! I don't like my color or texture so it's hard, hopefully I'll make it this time by staying blond and avoiding black dye and fashion colors, but I'll see I suppose! I've been shaving the sides off just to have something to play around with.

When my hair was that length, on the days I felt sad about progress, I'd wear either wigs, hats, head scarves, or headbands. Maybe even throw on some makeup or a fun outfit to distract myself. It sucks feeling stuck but leaving your hair alone will help it grow more! If you keep bleaching, your hair can get damaged and it'll break off and then you'll be in that cycle of cut, grow, bleach and repeat. You have a lovely and unique natural hair color! I just hope that you see that one day too! I'm still cheering you on, Bat!! You can do this!!

My natural hair is the most common shade of brown that comes in nature with grey bits due to getting old I'll never grow my hair natural but I am trying to only bleach every 3 months or more 2 more months to go my main challenge is to not shave it off again during this trapped stage
