I have a disk bun for you today. I crossed the strands before laying the loops. That's why it looks rotational symmetric.

I love this - but I don't get what you mean when you say you crossed the strands before you laid the loops?

Usually for the Disk Bun you divide the hair into a right section and a left section. With the right section you make the right loop and with the left section you do the left loop.

With crossing strands now I mean, that with the right strand I make the left loop and with the left strand I make the right loop. To do this, I have to cross the strands before.

Or is there another, better verb in Englisch to describe that for a better understanding?

Thank you! The red is henna, grown out enough that pretty much everything visible outside of the bun is my natural color.

Hi ETJ_Curls,

in almost every hair is also a shade of red. In blonde, you mostly realize it, when wearing brass or gold hair jewelry, which is kind of biting with the hair color - while with copper it doesn't bite. That's why I sprayed my spin pins and other hair pins with a copper lacqeur to get the brass color out - they shall be invisible, not shiny in the bun. Of course with the Flexi it is different, but I love that tarnished antique look of copper ans silver likewise.

Today I decided to give this crossover bun a try using Nichole Ciotti on IG's handy tutorial. It took two attempts, but I like how it came out. It's quite comfortable, fairly secure, and looks pretty too!
