I went nuts and bought a lot of combs a while back, but I keep coming back to my horn comb by quecraft and the wide-tooth bohn detangler rakes by hairsense. The former, I use on dry, straight hair, and the latter I use when my hair is wet or when I have a lot of detangling to do before I can use the fine-tooth comb. I also have a fine-tooth bohn comb from hairsense, but given how much sanding I had to do with the wide-tooth combs, I don't trust it in my fine hair.

Bought a wooden wide-tooth comb from the Body Shop the other day, wish I'd got one sooner! feels much better for my hair.

Seamless plastic! I've never tried a wooden comb, though interested if it would be any different.

I use the wooden comb by the Body Shop. The main difference between this one and my old plastic wide-toothed comb is that the wooden one reduces electricity.

I like my yak horn combs from LeBaoLong very much. I have a wide-tooth comb for detangling and one with finer teeth for combing afterwards.

i use a wooden, wide toothed comb because it doesn't create as much static, well in my hair

As far as I know, it's seamless plastic... never really checked or noticed. It's a conair styling essentials wide-tooth [not super wide..] comb from Wal-Mart [$3]. It's the only thing I've been using for a while now, and only after washing, conditioning and putting leave-in while hair is still really damp. I've never had luck with BBB or other brushes..

I have been considering cutting up to waist lately :O It is currently just above TB, b/c I keep trimming it...

When my hair is damp, I use a wide tooth then a regular tooth comb (both plastic with seams). When it's dry I use a wooden comb, and occasionally a wide tooth bone comb and finger comb it.
