I will probably do the same when I feel like I need one, but I've never done it before so I'll wait a few years to gain enough length to not be too mad at myself if I mess up and need to cut more ha ha

Had a trim earlier this month and now I’m back to APL from BSL. I don’t mind too much bc I’m on a healthy hair journey as well as a long hair journey, but I’ve spent the whole year going back and forth between those two lengths and will have had almost no net growth this year. Now that my hair is in much better condition than at the start of the year, I think I’m gonna avoid salon trims for at least 6 months. I might take off a quarter inch or so if I need it, but I want to see some growth! APL is kinda frustrating for me bc I feel like the braided styles I like don’t look as good. I wear my hair down, or in a claw clip, and that’s it.

I'm doing an SMT right now for the first time ever, not a fan of putting honey in my hair at all the feeling isn't great. I'll keep you all updated on results!!

I'm soo happy yesterday my bf randomly said to me "when did your hair get so long?" (he found a strand of my hair on him) my hair wasn't even straightened!!

I think I've decided to start using silicone's again, I was so afraid of using them because lot's of people make them sound awful but they make my hair so much less frizzy. Also, as my hair is getting longer I should probably start protecting my ends better with them. (I've always oiled my ends daily just without cones)

I'm at "it feels like it's there, but when you look at it or measure it, it really isn't" length. Technically I should only need 3cm more, but I added 2cm to my milestone measurements just to be sure I'm really there, so 5cm it is. I feel like I'll be at waist by then though ha ha.
