I went up to Seeshamis yesterday, but the dye wasn't there yet (she ordered it off Amazon), however it showed up at about 1:30 and I had to leave in less than an hour. So she tested a strip on her ombre for like 25 minutes I think and it turned a pretty pinky purple. But our joint hair purple-ing adventures didn't happen together. I went home and she did her ombre. It is DARK! And she warned me to leave it in for the 30 minutes it says on the bottle unless I wanted black looking hair for a couple washes until it toned to more purple.
I've got house work to do today, so I'm planning on doing that and taking a shower and washing my hair, per the instructions...and then doing it this evening or tomorrow. I'm cutting in conditioner because I just know 8 oz isn't covering my whole head!! And I'm also wondering on getting hubbys help and doing it outside on the patio maybe if it's not too cold/windy, because I don't want to get purple everywhere again inside. haha.
I may do a little test patch on a chunk of hair today to test timing and the conditioner mix, so if I do that and get an idea of what's coming I'll be back with a pic!
Omg....some of the mess is....Kinda....PINK!!!
it's purple
The naughty mess says, "I plead innocent!"
Should have kept your snaggles off the keyboard and plead the 5th.
You're right. It's just like purple....mixed with some extra red and white until it's, Pink.
It's GLORIOUS
It is beautiful Seeshami. I must torment you with the pink talk to drive you crazy, but I like pink and think it's nice and that is a great bun for it.
So, I did a chunk of my hair, dye and conditioner mix to test....30 minutes, not much color change. So I don't know...maybe leave it on the whole head longer?
