Wow - your braid looks so lovely and thick! My braids always seem to stick out one way or another - in your case maybe it is from braiding it over your left shoulder and pulling too much of the hair from the right across? Would love to hear other's advice on this though - people with hair longer than mine may have a better idea.

Your Dutch braid looks good

Do you finish your braid over your left shoulder? If so, it could help to pull it over the right shoulder and gently stretch it to the right after you've braided a few cm over the left shoulder and then bring it back again. If you understand what I mean

I sometimes have to do this with my braids.

I posted my dutch braid months ago and this is my dutch braid now. The same amount of bumps but with longer ends

Gorgeous braids, everyone

Inspired by cjk’s multiple braids, (though no french or Dutch braiding here), I used to do this a lot back before I realised that braids weren’t a great protective style for me. Lovely to see a bit more length since last time I did it.
