Wendyg, that is lovely!
I wore a cinnabun today with two ketylos and they held really well.

The Goal: No trimming until waist (2013)
Day 8: A bandana over a cinnabun held with clips. I am not counting the clips because you can't see them under the bandana. My stepmom calls this my "Polish Granny" look. I call it pretty dang convenient for cleaning!
ETA: This bandana is representing all of my bandanas. If I counted each one, I'd probably have to add another month to my journey in this thread!
Aargh! My hair is only an inch shorter than APL - looks about the same length as Decaf Jane's in her siggy pic - and it's half the size. Curse my F/i hair!
Anyways, hair envy over, I have the ever-present cinnabun with a birds-eye maple ketylo (one of two) I adore the color of these sticks!

Joiful, that's a gorgeous bandana! I need to buy some silk ones.....
I think I'm going to have to group my Ketylos by color- I have so many of them! For instance, no more darkish brown, as I've already done camo.
ETA: I really don't have that many, just several brown ones!

I am so totally enjoying everyones' toys and styles!!! This is a great challenge.
No photo yesterday, but I used my small Flexi-8 to secure a looped braid.
Today
I used to have two of those sticks but couldn't find the other one this morning.

I really wanted to wear my hair down again today, and that's hard with most of my toys, so I just pulled the hair at the temples back with barrette #2 in this picture.
Kinda lazy and lame, I know, but I promise tomorrow's will be AWESOME.

Thank you rags!
I put my hair up in a ponytail and sectioned it off into two braids: a regular three-strand on the right and a regular two-strand rope braid on the left. I wound the 3-strand braid first (clockwise around and under the rope braid) and then wound the 2-strand rope braid around counter-clockwise and wound the tail inside the circle I'd made with the 3-strand. Clear as mud??? I was just playing around, trying to come up with something new, and it turned out nothing like I expected, but I kinda liked it. So I really appreciate your compliement.
