Okay, cool. I just don't want people to be angry at me... I'm into the whole serendipity thing these days, ya know?

No offense!
I think itīs all about the communication. Just can tell when your not getting your invoices paid in time. Itīs often money I have to work with. Maybe if the reservation is to point of time, so that everyone could see that, could help. Like ... is reserved for ... until.... Maybe some would pay faster and others could hold a hope. ![]() |

Well, I know I'm one that has things on reserve for long periods of time... But, that's because my income is infrequent. She's told me that she understands that. I hope that's still the case and that I'm not hindering her business.

I think alot of people have become frustrated with not being able to buy things as someone as reserved them immediately and then not paid for them for a long time - sometimes its obvious as to why as they go as soon as their customs come up, but for some they sit there for much longer. So I think thats why she's made a descision to enforce the 10 day reservation policy. I personally think this is more than fair - as it is a business and allows more people a chance to buy her lovely things. I guess you have to decide whether it is fair on her and other customers to sit on stuff for ages. Maybe she could do a lay away plan, I know some Etsy shops will do this. Though she may not want to go there - as that can get messy too and complicated. You obviously know you've sat on stuff for a while - otherwise you wouldn't have said what you said, so I would suggest checking in with Nightblooming to see if she is happy for that to continue - as I said, its her shop and therefore her rules. So if shes happy its no-ones elses business. If she's not happy then you have to make a descision as to whether to let stuff go on general sale or not. All the best with your decision ![]() Last edited by little_acorn; Today at 05:01 PM. Reason: added additional text |
