A new hire at my job had a pony-tailed herringbone braid today. I'm guessing it would've been around mid-back down, definitely longer than BSL.
SheaLynne - lovely siggy pic.

Tuesday I was walking around my college campus and saw a mid 20s guy with a pony tail that was probably shoulder length. That's really long for a guy around here!
I almost said something to him but I haven't yet attempted to convert anyone to LHC. Maybe next time.

At the grocery store, a (white) guy with classic length dreads. Now I'm not into dreads, but this *was* impressive, so as we weighed up our veggies I asked him how long he'd been growing his dreads. He said about 20 years. I said "cool", and that I'd been growing my hair about that length of time also - he looked and nodded, and we grinned at each other. There was nothing for him to say actually: my hair is stick-straight fine and thin, and was in a little twisted low bun held with one MeiFa stick. Quite the opposite of his great fuzzy matted long dreads.

At a movie theater, saw a woman with long grey hair, just shy of classic length but looked terminal to me. How often do you ever see terminal length *grey* hair on display? It was awesome!

I was at Shop 'N Kart yesterday evening when I saw a woman with soft-looking hair that was between waist and tailbone length. It was a mousy brown color and had gentle waves in it.

I think every woman with long hair in my town was in Wal-Mart today
The first thing that caught my eye when I walked in the door was a lady with black below classic hair up in a pony. It was medium thickness and really pretty. I hadn't gone far when there stood another long haired beauty looking at the produce. Her's was medium brown and silver free flowing waist length... really pretty. As I was heading for the dairy there was a lady looking at little girls clothes, she had auburn hair... another free flowing to waist. She had some lite braid waves going on. It looked pretty too. On to the dairy... LOL! There stood an older lady with her white hair in a bun. It wasn't real thick but you could tell it must really be long because she had lots of rounds in her bun . But my favorite was a beautiful Hispanic lady standing in the meat section with her hair braided. It had to have been classic when not braided and I could swear that braid was almost 3 inches wide. Great Hair Viewing Day for me ![]()

Long hair siting city! Heathenfest at Grammercy Theater in NYC. Tons of long haired people, hip length +. This one dude had 1A straight hair down to TB in a ponytail. Tons of classic length girls. Hair was everywhere. And it was clean! Yes, I do know for a fact! As folks were headbanging I kept smelling hair products not sebumy sweat!

I was at Barnes and Noble in Springfield this weekend and saw both a tailbone length ponytail and a classic length loose. I NEVER see that much loose hair around here. Seems like the only people with long hair are the Amish/Mennonite/fundamentalists who always bun it up.

A couple of days ago I saw an older indian women with a huge grey bun held by an ordinary pen. Her hair must have been to her hips or longer. She was with a younger girl who had around waist length hair.
