Default Shampoo Bar Rinse Question

I am wondering if anyone has tried rinsing with a mix of Shikakai powder and water after using a shampoo bar. The ACV rinse has been very drying for my hair post shampoo bar. It seems that Shikakai is naturally very "acidic". Has anyone tried it as a rinse and had good results? Thank you.

Try diluting the ACV more, and also, you CAN use conditioner after a shampoo bar wash!

Thanks,
I tried a rinse of 1 tsp. Shikakai powder and 1 scant tsp. ACV in 10 oz of water. Seems to have worked well, I guess I was using way too much vinegar!

Yay! And yeah, too much vinegar does that. I have hair that is very porous and likes vinegar, but too much can make my hair feel really greasy. Or dry at the same time!
