Ok... There's something wrong with the picture's she's showing of a renaissance outfit with a bob...http://www.isais.causa-nostra.com/Mode/Mode.htm WOMEN DID NOT HAVE BOBS THEN!!!! Short hair was for slaves just a few hundred years prior in the dark ages and Roman empire! I mean, I'm thinking with the mention of art deco, that she may be talking about women's lib, but...Men can grow long hair as well, and well, they face a lot of crap for it. Women, we can just as easily be a feminist with long hair as with short... I mean, maybe in the 1920s, bobs were popular for that reason, but... We live in 2009. Most women have shorter hair.

Also, I don't get why photos of hairbrushes are posted? Is she implying that short haired people don't have to brush their hair? I don't speak German, so IDK for sure, but... I'm not sure.

Also, all the long hair she posted looks pretty! It also looks VERY stolen from a LHC type site, though I don't recognize anyone personally.

If we want to get into weird newagey ideas about hair, I'd think long hair would be better, since it doesn't involve removing the life force, or something like that.

That site is pretty silly. The tosh about long hair always being a burden to its wearer even if she doesn't know... and how there is an ideal length at which hair should be cut off (nape of the neck) otherwise it would impact the energy flow or whatever...
Yeah. Looney bin.

Alot of those photos look too professional to be from here and I would think that photos in our albums are only viewable by members that have the appropriate amount of posts to view albums and profiles. If any images were 'stolen' it would be from the public parts of the board.

Thanks for sharing this one, Emi. That's certainly a weird site. I don't recognize any photos though, other than you.

I might go and de-embed some photos and just have links to my profile if that is the case...
Google can find images that are posted in public boards, which means it can't see the boards that need higher postcounts or blogs. Of course, part of the reason for those restrictions is to give the moderators a chance to spot oddballs who might only be joining to (solicit and) harvest pictures rather than participating.

I've just done some testing and you are correct. Most of the images I post on this site are either from my LHC album or my own website. On the public boards non-users can see my posts but not the images within the posts that are in my LHC albums. The images from my website also should be okay as they are hot-linked and indexing the folder is disallowed.

No, that is just because these are Picasa Collages I do these all the time, they combine photos from all sorts of sites and private photos into these. Look again, you can see peoples livingrooms etc.

Also keep in mind that LHCers do not only post here, we have them on youtube, their personal website and blogs, flickr etc.
All I can do is warn longhair sites so they owner will not just take my picture off but all stolen photos.

Beatnik Guy,
We have recogniced Mi-Chan on the German boards...I did not link to her photo because I am unsure if she would want her face to be seen.
It basically displays her with short hair and she is promoted for having short hair (which is funny cause she is growing out)

That is just weird on so many levels... The most obvious beeing stealing photos. But once it's on the net, it can be used and abused for all other intents than the original poster meant. So I guess that's just somethign we have to learn to not care too much about in this digital age.

The second thing that weirds me out, is that they claim long hair is bad for spiritual energy? There's loads of religions who are AGAINST cutting hair. And no offence to any Reiki-practioners, but I'm personally not suprised that this comes from a reiki-healer.

And before I stop I'll just ass that I did recognise like 4 of theese pictures, but I can't name the person(s), just know i've seen them before, probably here... They all might be you, Emichiee.

Oh sorry, I guess I wasn't clear enough....
I'm not sure all of them are you, but that I've seen them before. And I see it mentioned in the thread that some of them are you, so I just thought maybe the ones I recognise are all you (seeing as I'm no good at remembering names/nicks along with peoples backhead-shots).
