...Well that's my update and lesson learned... oh and are their any tricks to get rid of frizz for me if there is a next time?
Yeah I know you were camping and all... but don't ever leave home without your own personal hair products as a curly-head. EVER! I'm all for trying new products, but always have your old faithfuls nearby in case said new products don't react well with your hair. Otherwise, you end up in... well... the situation you ended up in.

Hi everyone,

I'm a 3c curly girl looking for company. I love curls and I wouldn't want to change them.
I've been natural for years now and I finally found out what to do with my hair. I had my curls slightly longer than shoulderlength ,but then I got it cut (recently) into a angled bob. I love the style ,but I love the versatility of long hair more. So my goal would be around brastrap length.I don't use heat on my hair anymore ,except for a hairdryer every once in a while.

xoxo

Very true... It was the stupidest mistake ever... and to think that I actually used to use that stuff on my hair and I never used to have that kind of a reaction to it... O_o''

Maybe... but I know that my hair never had 2inches of frizz after I shampooed and conditioned it when I was little... I don't know, all I know is that I wont EVER do that again... *sigh*

I shall give it one more go this morning.

Okay I take it all back. Never knew about scrunching out!
Great! Yeah I didn't used to know either, lots of us didn't. Isn't it a world of difference?

Just wanted to post a couple pics to compare my growth in the last few months.

this is from july

and this is from today

What do you think? I didn't know which pic showed a better angle. Also I can't tell if i've reached APL yet this shirt makes it hard to tell. So i'll have to take another later with a string or something. Just thought i'd try with a lined shirt so i have a point of reference in the same shirt next time.
