to Whitestiletto: DO NOT LAYER VEGGIE DYE OVER HENNA!

I don't care who said it was a good idea, I did it and my hair broke off all over. I'm lucky I was able to save any of it!

Really? I've heard of many people doing it, including our lovely resident hypnotica, with great results. I've done it myself. No damage *shrug*.

Did you use heat like they say to on the packet? I didn't bother.
Finally embracing what nature gave me

Can I have waist length hair for Christmas?

I googled that rooibos tea and green tea are alkaline. Juices that traditionally are used with henna are all acidic and make henna less red and more orange. So I was wondering, if alcaline liquid would make it more cold toned, like wine red or towards that. But obviously not. I plan to make that experiment myself too next time I cover my gray roots, with frozen and melted henna.
